These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the XploreLiverpool website at xploreliverpool.co.uk ("the Site"). XploreLiverpool is operated by Marlo Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17309992, with its registered office at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU, United Kingdom.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What we provide
XploreLiverpool is a free event aggregation platform. We collect and display event information from third-party sources including Eventbrite, Skiddle, The Guide Liverpool, and others. We also operate a weekly email newsletter featuring upcoming events in Liverpool and Wirral.
3. Event information disclaimer
Event listings on XploreLiverpool are sourced from third-party providers. While we make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any event details including but not limited to dates, times, venues, prices, or availability.
We strongly recommend that you verify event details directly with the event organiser or ticketing provider before making plans or purchasing tickets. XploreLiverpool is not responsible for any changes, cancellations, or inaccuracies in event listings.
4. Event submissions
You may send event details and an image to us for editorial review. You must provide accurate information and must own the submitted image or have permission to allow XploreLiverpool to store, edit, resize, publish, and display it in connection with the event.
You retain ownership of submitted material. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for reviewing, promoting, and maintaining the event listing across our website, newsletter, and related event-discovery channels. Submission does not guarantee publication. We may edit, combine with another listing, reject, remove, or request corrections to a submission.
You must tell us promptly if an approved event is changed, postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
5. Tickets and bookings
We do not sell tickets. Where the Site links to external ticketing platforms (such as Eventbrite or Skiddle), any purchase you make is between you and that third-party provider. Their terms of service and refund policies apply.
We are not liable for any issues arising from ticket purchases, including payment disputes, refunds, or event cancellations.
6. Newsletter
By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receiving weekly emails about events in Liverpool and Wirral. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in each email. Our newsletter is managed via Brevo — see our Privacy Policy for details on how your email is handled.
7. Intellectual property
The design, layout, and original content of the Site are owned by Marlo Solutions Ltd and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Event data and images displayed on the Site may be owned by the respective event organisers or third-party sources.
